이승주현재 중앙대학교 정치국제학과 교수이며, 사회과학대학 학장이다. 싱가포르국립대학(National University of Singapore) 정치학과 교수를 역임했다. 현재 동아시아연구원(East Asia Institute) 무역기술변환연구센터의 센터장, 양자전략위원회 민간위원, 외교부 경제안보외교자문위원회 위원, UC Berkeley APEC Study Center Senior Research Affiliate, Visiting Fellow at Centre for Emerging Technology and Security (CETaS) at the Alan Turing Institute으로 활동하고 있다. 편저서로 『미중 경제전쟁과 한국: 경제안보의 부상, 위기와 기회』(공편, 2024), 『패권의 미래: 미중 전략 경쟁과 새로운 국제 질서』(공저, 2022), 『지경학의 기원과 21세기 전환』(2021), 논문으로 “U.S.‑ China Technology Competition and the Emergence of Techno‑Economic Statecraft in East Asia: High Technology and Economic‑Security Nexus”(2024), “South Korea’s Economic Statecraft in a Risky High-Tech World”(2022) 등이 있다. 미국 캘리포니아 버클리대학(University of California at Berkeley)에서 정치학 박사를 취득했다. 대표작
