Biography
Christine Amal Mallouhi is an author and interfaith advocate. She grew up in Melbourne, Australia and lived in a number of Middle East and North African countries after marriage into an Arab Muslim family in 1975. A graduate of Divinity at SMBC in Sydney, Australia and special studies at Fuller Theological Seminary in the USA she now codirects Alkalima, a non-profit christian association producing books in Arabic that explain Christ in culturally relevant ways for the Muslim reader. Alkalima's works have been cited among the best books of the year in the Arabic Publishers Journal and among the best-selling books at International Arab Bookfairs. She was a contributing editor for TUNISIAN NEWS and has written numerous articles and spoken extensively on Muslim Christian relations worldwide from a personal and practical perspective.
