최종현중앙대학교 접경인문학 연구단의 HK연구교수다. 미국 노트르담대학교에서 정치학 박사학위를 취득했고, 이후 동대학교의 박사 후 과정을 밟았다. 귀국 후에는 경희대학교, 서강대학교, 서울대학교, 이화여자대학교에서 강사로 재직했다. 논문으로는“Effects of Regime Type on Managing Economic Crisis: Evidence from the Great Recession”(2019), “The Determinants of Anti-Government Protests in Asia”(2019), “Civil Society and Labour Rights Protection in Asia and the Pacific”(2020) 등이 있다. 대표작
